Over the weekend of the 12th and 13th of May, there will be over 50 acts playing live across 2 stages at Hartlepool Football Stadium.

There will also be a number of activities, including face-painting, nail art, t-shirt making and games, all helping to raise money for Red Dreams and all the young people they work with.

There will be fun fair rides and stalls as well near the main stage and the marquee stage.

All bars and food units will be serving at cost effective prices(not Match Day prices).  Therefore no alcohol or food will be allowed into the venue.

The venue will be open from 12 noon each day closing after the last band finishes.

The Pre Pitch Screamo Gig saw the return of PBL and Red Dreams to The Studio in Hartlepool.  Over 130 people attended the first gig back which local talents of Boundaries, All&I, Coalition and Bring Back Honesty, and if you loved screamo and intricate guitars with a heavy edge, The Studio was the place to be.

The gig raised over £200 towards the Marquee Stage at Pitch Invasion 2012.

So 52 hours completed and over 14 Live Lounge Sets, which if you didn’t see you missed a treat; luckily we’re editing them and they’ll be up on YouTube very shortly.

The Pizza Hut and Subway Man Vs Food Challenges proved a ‘bite’ too far, with all six volunteers struggling to finish the hottest pizza made in Hartlepool and 3 huge footlong sandwiches.

However, Scott Chapman became the first person IN THE UK to complete the Chipstix Challenge, eating 3 x 2 foot lonng battered sausages covered in spiralled potato, in just 30 minute.

Thanks to all the people who took part, all the performers, volunteers, watchers of the live feed and the people who donated; without you we would not exist.

The Wake-a-thon Chart is the COMING…and you get to choose in what order by voting on your favourite tracks…

There are 49 tracks on the Wake-a-thon page, but only 40 can make it into the charts and you get to decide where they position, the songs are up now so have a listen and voting starts at 9am on January 30th and runs right the way through to 5pm 3 February.

The chart will be revealed over the Wake-a-thon between 10th to the 12th of February over Justin.tv as we’re broadcasting the whole event.  We’ll have games, challenges, live lounges from some amazing musicians and much more…or just watch as we gradually go MAD.

We have so much going in 2012…We have officially launched Pitch Invasion 2012 at Hartlepool United’s Victoria Park Stadium, we are organising gigs with PBL Audio at The Studio in Hartlepool with at least 4 over the next few months, new modern music – these are on 26th January / 16 February / 22 March / 26 April.

In addition we have our Wake-a-thon from 10 February to 12 February, looking at staying awake for at least 52 hours in a record attempt, whilst live broadcasting the whole event including Lloyd Vs Food, Band Mastermind, Live Lounge Sets, Top Tens and much more.

Look out for some great events in the town centre around the opening of the new BHS Store on 26th and 28th January; as well as Easter.

Red Dreams presents the ‘Magic of Motown’ Christmas Showcase

With over 20 amazing young people performing hits from the amazing Motown era, including ‘Ben’, ‘Superstition’, ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’, ‘My Girl’ and so many, many more favourites.

And to top it all, the last ever performance of this line up of Hand of Aces, who recently played a blinding set at the O2 Newcastle.  Here for one night only playing your favourite rock tunes from the 60′s and 70′s…this is not a night to be missed.

All this for £4…there’s also a raffle on the night with some great prizes and a DOUBLE CD of Christmas and Motown Hits recorded by the young people from Red Dreams will be on sale on the evening for just £5 – thats over 30 songs to sing along to.
