The Wake-a-thon Chart is the COMING…and you get to choose in what order by voting on your favourite tracks…

There are 49 tracks on the Wake-a-thon page, but only 40 can make it into the charts and you get to decide where they position, the songs are up now so have a listen and voting starts at 9am on January 30th and runs right the way through to 5pm 3 February.

The chart will be revealed over the Wake-a-thon between 10th to the 12th of February over Justin.tv as we’re broadcasting the whole event.  We’ll have games, challenges, live lounges from some amazing musicians and much more…or just watch as we gradually go MAD.

We have so much going in 2012…We have officially launched Pitch Invasion 2012 at Hartlepool United’s Victoria Park Stadium, we are organising gigs with PBL Audio at The Studio in Hartlepool with at least 4 over the next few months, new modern music – these are on 26th January / 16 February / 22 March / 26 April.

In addition we have our Wake-a-thon from 10 February to 12 February, looking at staying awake for at least 52 hours in a record attempt, whilst live broadcasting the whole event including Lloyd Vs Food, Band Mastermind, Live Lounge Sets, Top Tens and much more.

Look out for some great events in the town centre around the opening of the new BHS Store on 26th and 28th January; as well as Easter.

Red Dreams presents the ‘Magic of Motown’ Christmas Showcase

With over 20 amazing young people performing hits from the amazing Motown era, including ‘Ben’, ‘Superstition’, ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’, ‘My Girl’ and so many, many more favourites.

And to top it all, the last ever performance of this line up of Hand of Aces, who recently played a blinding set at the O2 Newcastle.  Here for one night only playing your favourite rock tunes from the 60′s and 70′s…this is not a night to be missed.

All this for £4…there’s also a raffle on the night with some great prizes and a DOUBLE CD of Christmas and Motown Hits recorded by the young people from Red Dreams will be on sale on the evening for just £5 – thats over 30 songs to sing along to.

Footlight’s Festival of Dance DVD has been edited and checked, Hartlepool Football / National Heritage Dramatic retelling of the life of a young man from 1908 to 2008 with his story linked to Hartlepool United; as well as 4 interviews with Fans, Supporters Club, The Mayor and Ritchie Humpreys…November has been really busy.

REMEMBER…We have our Christmas DOUBLE CD almost complete with over 35 songs covering the best of Motown and 18 FANTASTIC Christmas Hits, all performed by Young People and their mentors / volunteers.  It only costs £4 advance and £5 on the night of the show.

Friday 16 December 2011 at the Corporation Club, Hartlepool. 15 acts will take you through some of the greatest Motown Hits ever, and the night will be finished by a set from the amazing Hand of Aces who will rock you into Christmas.

For 2011, we have a special DOUBLE CD featuring our young artists singing the best Motown and Christmas Hits, with over 26 songs.  Recorded and Mixed at the Red Dreams Unit by Andy Sharpe and Peter Davies.

Red Dreams are providing the entertainment for Hartlepool’s Official FireworkDisplay at the Clock Tower in SeatonCarew, Hartlepool

Entertainment starts at 4pm until 5pm at the PBL Audio Stage area, catch some great perfromances from Kate Williams, Casey Smith, Chloe Gibson and The Peppermints.

Then its over to the Clock Tower for music from Abbie Coulson, Beth Lowery, Michael Rice, Abbie Farrelly and AJ Wilde; and finishing with The Samantha Durnan Band until 630pm

Red Dreams and Ronnie Rowbotham have been collaborating on a film following a man through his life, telling his own and the story of Hartlepool United.

With some great actors from Hartlepool, and some partnership working with Beamish Museum, Swan Hunters, Brierton Nursing Home and Hartlepool United Football Club.

Young people contributed with filming, sound, lights, makeup, production and editing; with Daniel Drinkwater providing an emotional soundtrack.

22 October is the Premiere, with more news to come about how to see it.

Red Dreams are once again providing the entertainment for the Official Hartlepool Firework Display at The Clock Tower, Seaton Carew.

We will have some amazing singers starting from 5pm and finishing with a great band at around 6.10 for 20 minutes.
