Friday 24th May saw Atlantic Records(Ed Sheeran, Rudimental etc) visit Red Dreams to check out some of the amazing young talent.  11 acts performed between 2 and 3 songs, and we went hi-tech adding a camera to a green room for the acts to see each other, as well as streaming it live across the internet to the world.

Red Dreams is buzzing at the moment, with photoshoots of all the solo singers and songwriters, filmmakers documenting everything and producing short films; songwriters working with a number of young singers, developing original material, with one appearing on BBC1′s ‘The Voice’ and the other preparing to sing at the O2 in London.

As well as some amazing showcases coming up, and some live events locally and throughout teesside that Red Dreams are involved in.

We held our first vocal showcase for students and coaches on Friday 3 May. Our intimate performance room saw 19 acts sing for family and friends; a few of them preparing for a number of important showcases to come at the end of the month for music industry representatives.

Many of the singers in this showcase were performing in front of an audience for the first time, with pop, rock, and musical theatre numbers.

This is the first of many vocal showcases for students, with future ones being streamed over the internet (fingers crossed).

We are also organising a number of music industry showcases for people who have been writing their own music and have honed their performance skills to a good level….more on these soon.
